Geisha Restaurant

Can't count how many times I have been to this place. LOOOOVE the food, and the atmosphere. Not cheap, but so worth it. Great for a lunch after a day at Barney's, or dinner. It's on the Upper East Side, so not ideal for going out afterwards.

Sesame Salad is cheap (relatively) and amazing. Try the chicken lolipop things for starter. And the sushi is great to, plus the Kobe beef. Drinks are great too.

Sarahbeth's

My favorite place to have breakfast at the Upper East Side, there are other ones as well around the city, but I haven't tried them. Not trendy, but a great homey feel when you are hung over and don't want to leave your apt. You feel like you are at you grandmother's having a sunday brunch. I really miss english muffins and the creamy tomatosoup.
